FEES & TIMESCALES

Fees and timescales

Transparent fixed-fee quotes based on my hourly rate of £220 — so you know what you will pay before work begins.

HOW FEES WORK

Clear fees, agreed in advance

I normally provide a fixed-fee quote for your matter. Fee ranges below are a guide based on my hourly rate of £220.00 (plus VAT where applicable).

Fixed-fee quotes

For most work I agree a fixed fee up front, so you stay in control of costs from the start. Hourly estimates are available if you prefer.

What is included

Quoted fees usually cover preparing your application for submission — forms, supporting documents and correspondence with the Home Office.

Other costs

You may also need to pay Home Office fees, the Immigration Health Surcharge, translation costs, tribunal fees or a barrister. I will flag these clearly.

Additional information

For most applications my quoted fee will cover my work in preparing your application for submission to the Home Office. This includes filling in the application form, preparing supporting documents, and writing to the Home Office. After the application has been submitted I will give you a fresh quote if you need further advice.

For Court or Tribunal work, I will advise you about what is covered when I provide a quote.

Please note that unfortunately I cannot carry out work funded by Legal Aid.

Timescales

I will normally provide you with advice in writing within 14 days following a first consultation.

If you instruct me to represent you in an application for a visa or permission to stay in the UK, preparation time depends on your circumstances. I will advise you about preparation and decision-making times with my initial advice. Complex applications for permission to stay can take 9–12 months with the Home Office, and sometimes longer.
